Your Most Important
Relationship
is With Yourself
I am a warm, creative, and empowering therapist specializing in working with BIPOC clients. In our communities, we face additional mental health challenges and stigma around therapy. You might be the first in your family to seek therapy or trying to change the status quo. Then life happens, and it feels like there's never enough time, support, or calm: anxiety sets in, and you don't know where to start. I'm here to give you tools to manage these feelings, to recognize and release them from your body. Our bodies store emotions, often manifesting in physical ways. I'm here to help you holistically.

What to Expect During Our Sessions
Before our first session, I ask you to complete a biopsychosocial assessment so I can begin understanding your background and what brought you here. During our time together, I won’t ask for detailed trauma stories. Instead, I focus on the highlights you’ve shared and gently ask follow up questions, inviting you to share only what feels right for you. We stay in the present moment and take pauses to notice what is happening in your body as you talk, since your nervous system often speaks before your words do. I think of this first meeting as a chance for us to get to know each other, explore how I can support you, and begin shaping what your goals might look like. My hope is that you leave feeling met, understood, and supported as we begin this work together.
